Next time our competitors offer test results from "miracle products" that seem too good to be true, ask the following questions:

Ask if this means that the product was tested at the world famous General Motor Proving Grounds Vehicle Laboratory, or the parking lot of a neighborhood GM car dealership?

2. Credibility of the testing authority?

3. Condition of the test vehicles?

4. Type of procedure followed?

5. Extent to which the manufacturer was involved?

6. Sophistication of the measuring instrument?

Did You Know That:

General Motor Proving Grounds Vehicle Laboratory is a US EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) Certified and Approved Laboratory.

Vehicles selected for testing were tested under stringent US Federal Test Procedures. Even though Data was compiled from multiple test vehicles,  individual results may vary.

This is the closest we could get to the Proving Grounds. We were not allowed into the Proving Grounds because we are not GM employees.  Test vehicles were completely out of our control beyond this point.

Amusing Fact:

The test tracks to the right of the fence is where some of our tests were performed. A GM insider told us that the spot where this photo was taken is the favorite scouting place of the media and the curious – those who want the first glimpse of GM's latest or or top secret vehicles! Therefore vehicles tested on these tracks are often heavily disguised!
